No Commerical Breaks

So… all the time I get people ask if my first solo record “No Commercial Breaks” is available to buy. Sadly, I only ever made 1000 copies. Somewhere down the line I intend to rerelease it but that always seems to get pushed back. It is due to this fact that I generally tell people to… well… steal it.
Torrent it.
Burn a copy off a mate.
Whatever you fancy.
Fill your boots.
Obviously it can be killer for bands when people illegally file share (wont get into that debate now though…) but, if the record isnt available for you to buy then I can’t see the harm.
Due to this stance I THEN tend to get people saying “But I like to support artists by paying for music” or “I feel guilty for stealing it… is there anyway I can give you money?”.
Well, now I finally have a new website I thought I’d go right ahead and call your bluff!
I am very proud to unveil below the shiny new “NO COMMERCIAL BREAKS GUILT DONATIONS” button!

Please make some donations

Any money donated won’t be going to charity but it WILL be going straight back into my label Speech Development (on which I originally released “No Commercial Breaks”) and hopefully help fund future releases.

So if you have ever illegally downloaded a copy of “No Commercial Breaks” then feel free to use or not use.
:)

Pip

p.s. This DOES NOT mean I condone file sharing in general. For bands on small labels (and even some majors) it can really ruin careers. So please don’t go stealing any records that are available to buy. Particularly from independent labels.
